Description
Kiwi's Quest is the first title from Parable Games, currently in development and due for release on PC, Mac and Linux. Kiwi's Quest is viewed from a top-down perspective, with a mix of action/adventure and puzzle elements. The player character, Kiwi, is a baby girl on a quest through forty levels across four diverse environments to save her brother, Wilbur, who has been captured. Levels can be tackled in a variety of ways, though the greatest challenge for experienced players is to achieve the fastest time without the unnecessary killing of (mostly!) harmless creatures. Kiwi's Quest includes a fully-featured level editor to allow players to create their own challenging levels to share with others. Kiwi's Quest features original music by highly respected videogame music composer Chris Huelsbeck.
History
The game was inspired by the detailed 2D artwork and simple addictive playability of classic games on the Commodore Amiga, combined with the scale and performance made possible by modern hardware.
